دستگیری عامل توهین و فحاشی به نماینده مجلس ایرانی تبار در تورنتو

پلیس تورنتو از دستگیری مهدی رضازاده 36 ساله ساکن شهر ویتبی در شرق تورنتو به اتهام توهین ، تف کردن به مجید جوهری نماینده لیبرال مجلس کانادا در تظاهرات روز شنبه 22 اکتبر 2022 در میدان نیتنان فیلپیس ( شهرداری تورنتو ) خبر میدهد .پلیس سه اتهام را به مهدی رضا زاده ، تفهیم کرده است
دادگاه اولیه وی در تاریخ 15 ژوئن 2023 در تورنتو برگزار می شود .
The Toronto Police would like to update the public in an arrest made in an assault investigation.
On Saturday, October 22, 2022 at approximately 5:05 p.m., officers recieved a report that a person had been assaulted in the Nathan Phillips Square area.
It is alleged that:
- a man became involved in a verbal altercation
- during the altercation the man head butted, spat upon and pushed the victim
- the man then fled in an unknown direction
On Friday, May 5, 2023, Mahdi Rezazadeh, 36 of Whitby, was arrested. He has been charged with:
- three counts of Assault
He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11 a.m., in courtroom 203.
